MARK 'COACH' MINEART
TESTIMONIAL

ANNEKA LENSSEN
Assistant Professor, History of Art Department, UC-Berkeley (formerly Assistant Professor, Visual Cultures Program, Department of Arts, AUC)

I can speak about Mark Mineart as a colleague. He and I served on numerous committees together, and he was a delight to work with. Mark always grasped the spirit of the task at hand (whether a search committee or a grant evaluation), and pursued it with efficiency and commitment and a refreshing absence of pedantry. But the very best aspect of Mark as a colleague was his dedication to and skill for teaching; our hallway conversations about effective classroom strategies made me proud to teach in the Arts department at AUC. He cares about students, and he also knows how to motivate and support them to do their best work. I learned a lot from him.
