I've been lucky to work with Coach both as a student in his classes and as an actor under his direction. He is simultaneously supportive and demanding; he refuses to accept anything less than the best from his students, constantly urging us to bring everything we can to the scene, the rehearsal, or the class session. He has an incredible gift for meeting each student in a given group at their level and pushing them forward, neither holding back the more experienced nor leaving behind the newcomers. Working with him has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my professional life; he has been a key influence in shaping me as an actor and I am deeply grateful for the work he has done with me.
